Before we get to our new DT Members, we all would like to give a little wave of farewell to Co-Founder of The Design Experiement, Patti Hutchinson. She has had to regretfully resign, due to other Scrappy obligations.


Patti, you will be truly missed, and TDX wouldn't even exist if it weren't for you, we love you to pieces!

Kinsey Wilson



Kinsey Says:

Psst...

That girl up there, her name is Kinsey.

She's 27 but she swears she's really 23.

She has a super cute family that she adores.

Her super cute family inspires her to make things with paper and glue.

She calls it her art and her purpose.

Her little one is Brianna and she's 6.

They hang out way too much and have way too much fun.

That girl up there loves to eat sushi.

She hates the sound of styrafoam and cardboard rubbing together.

She thrives on finding "new" music.

She enjoys the sound of high heeled shoes on marble floor.

She is really stoked about being a designer here.

She hopes she will inspire you.

She looks forward to being inspired BY you as well.

Sasha Holloway



Sasha Says:

Hey there...my name is Sasha Holloway and I have been officially scrappin for 2 years now. I don't follow the rules, I just have fun with this hobby. I love to use color, bling, thickers and try new things. I have two beautiful children Elijah and Desman, My fabulous hubby and I are both active duty Air Force and we love to travel. I just completed my Master's so now I can write, scrap and create all over the place and leave behind art my kids can laugh and smile at later, I am all things outgoing and I am so excited to be apart of the Design Experiment DT...let's RAWK.


Mia Caniza

Mia Says:

Hi all! I'm Mia and I'm 29 years old. Born and raised all the way in the Philippines but used to live in the DC area during my college years, which I consider my second home. I am single, no kids but with an adorable little dog who is the princess of the house. I've always been artsy, having taken up art, architecture and interior design. So it was no wonder that I fell in love with scrapbooking. Well, fell in love is an understatement, it's more like I'm addicted. I discovered scrapbooking when I was looking for a unique gift to give in 2006 and the rest as they say is history. I love patterned paper and embellishments. I love mixing different manufacturers and colors to come up with something fun and unique. I love to layer papers and embellishments so that when you see my pages there is always something new to discover. I also love to hand cut and you will often see me cutting up paper to make new embellishments on my pages. I guess I would describe my style as full of color and details. I love to change things up so you will sometimes find romantic pages and other times bold & graphic styles as well. Even though I often like to change things up so as not to always have the same look, the bling and the flowers are not far away. I am so thrilled to be part of the TDX DT as I love these challenges. They force you to think and scrap outside your comfort zone yet leaving you the freedom to let your creativity and style still shine through. I am honored to say that TDX is my first DT spot. I am excited to get to work with such an amazing and talented group of ladies. I hope to inspire all of you to create and think outside of the box.


Amy Coose



Amy Says:

My name is Amy Coose, and I am a Texan transplanted to Northern Virginia. I have been married to the love of my life for almost 13 years, and we have two beautiful children. Austin is eight and just all boy, and my daughter Georgia is six. She will tell you she is a tomboy, and not a girlie-girl who would much rather play with snakes and dinosaurs than dolls. They are both the reason I scrapbook, and I love being able to create special memories for my family. I started scrapbooking when Austin was born, and haven't looked back. Scrapbooking is more than just a hobby for me-it's a way for me to save precious memories, be
creative, and do something meaningful. Outside of scrapping, I teach preschool 3 days a week.
