We are PLEASED to announce our Guest Designer for this challenge. Tanisha Long .. read all about her below and see how music has her groovin or just plain ole' feeling:
Thank you so much for inviting me to be a guest designer!
A little bit about Tanisha:
I live in New Jersey with my husband of 7 years and our 2 adorable little boys, 5 year old Donovan and 1 year old Xander. I work full time as a Research Technologist and I volunteer for the Office of Emergency Management in my town. In between all of this, I make sure allow myself time to indulge my creative side, pull out my supplies, and scrap. I'm just celebrating 5 years as a scrapper. I call myself a "moody" scrapper because I scrap based on how I feel at the time. I don't have a truly defined style, I like to try everything, however there are a few elements that you will normally find on my projects: handcutting, a bold shape, sewing, bling, and layering! I'm also addicted to the alphabet in any form! I am a published scrapper; my work can be found in Somerset Memories, Memory Makers, Creating Keepsakes and a few other mags. I am so thrilled to be the guest designer for this challenge!
Thanks you so much Tanisha for Guest Designing with us you ROCK and oh yah CONGRATS on being selected for Purple Cows new design team.
Journaling:
Music really does a lot for me. It helps me relax, it lets me escape, it gives me energy, and really just makes me happy.
Journaling:
I have been listening to the Goo Goo Dolls for quite some time now and I never get tired of the songs. I know it sounds odd but in some way they speak to my soul and I feel so deeply when I listen to them. I once played a CD of theirs in my car for 3 months straight. It doesn't hurt that John Rzeznik is so easy on the eyes. Sigh.
