We are PLEASED to announce our Guest Designer for this challenge. Tanisha Long .. read all about her below and see how music has her groovin or just plain ole' feeling:

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a guest designer!
A little bit about Tanisha:

I live in New Jersey with my husband of 7 years and our 2 adorable little boys, 5 year old Donovan and 1 year old Xander. I work full time as a Research Technologist and I volunteer for the Office of Emergency Management in my town. In between all of this, I make sure allow myself time to indulge my creative side, pull out my supplies, and scrap. I'm just celebrating 5 years as a scrapper. I call myself a "moody" scrapper because I scrap based on how I feel at the time. I don't have a truly defined style, I like to try everything, however there are a few elements that you will normally find on my projects: handcutting, a bold shape, sewing, bling, and layering! I'm also addicted to the alphabet in any form! I am a published scrapper; my work can be found in Somerset Memories, Memory Makers, Creating Keepsakes and a few other mags. I am so thrilled to be the guest designer for this challenge!

Tracks of my Tears
By: Tanisha Long

Journaling:

I have been listening to the Goo Goo Dolls for quite some time now and I never get tired of the songs. I know it sounds odd but in some way they speak to my soul and I feel so deeply when I listen to them. I once played a CD of theirs in my car for 3 months straight. It doesn't hurt that John Rzeznik is so easy on the eyes. Sigh.

Thanks you so much Tanisha for Guest Designing with us you ROCK and oh yah CONGRATS on being selected for Purple Cows new design team.

Challenge #46

Posted by The Design Experiment on 7:50 AM
Hi Experimenters!

Hoping you had a wonderful Easter and are enjoying some beautiful spring weather! Since Easter is a time of reflection, this week our experiment focuses on you, our Experimenters! We are often way too critical of ourselves and we often overlook the good things about ourselves. So this week your experiment is:

Write about what you love most about yourself. It could be something physical or a personality trait. Think of the one thing you wouldn't change about yourself for anything!

Girls, you have two weeks to let us know what you love about yourself.

This week we are joined by our awesome Guest Designer, Christina Padilla.

A little bit about Christina:

This busy mom of two cute little kids, 5 1/2 year old Jaden and 1 1/2 year old Aubrielle, has been scrapbooking and creating some type of art since her teens. Once the kids are asleep, she loves to unwind by putting on music on to get her creative flow started. She loves to use transparencies, found items and bold paper designs, all while chair dancing to the beat. She loves using scrapbooking as her creative outlet. Mixing up fun colors, strips of paper and masking tape coupled with quotes and pictures is the best way for her to tell her story. Christina is excite to be a part of this week's Design X and hopes that you find true inspiration of love from this prompt too!

Thank you Christina for joining us this week and inspiring us with your layout.

Dear Christina

By Christina Padilla

Journaling:

Love the qualities that make you, you. Love the way you can make your husband feel like he is the best man he can be, love the way you can make your children giggle with delight and safe in your arms, love the way you can be counted on to lend a helping hand to a friend in need, love how fun it is to get creative and feel inspired... but most of all remember to love yourself in the process. You are special and you are loved.

Fun Loving Girl

Journaling:

If there's one thing that I'm proud of myself it is that I always know how to have fun no matter what. I have a great joy for the one life I live! April 2009

Soft Heart
By Glenda

Journaling:

The one thing I love about myself is also the same thing that can work against me. I have a soft heart and am very emotional. This is good because I give my all to those I love but I don't always like wearing my heart on my sleeve. Sometimes I will cry and it drives me crazy because I want to have more control over my feelings & emotions. I am very sensitive and my heart gets broken easy. Having a good heart is a good thing because I think it makes you more aware of life around you & of other people's feelings.
